Dr. Uloma Okundaye, ARNP-BC

Dr. Uloma Okundaye is the Clinical Director at both Velox Psychiatric and Medical Center and Quick Clinic Medical Center. She is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with qualifications in both primary care and psychiatry. In her role, Dr. Okundaye is skilled in diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications for psychiatric disorders across all age groups, from children to adults. With over 18 years in the healthcare field, including more than a decade in acute care treating cardiac and metabolic disorders, Dr. Okundaye has extensive experience in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Dr. Okundaye completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, earned a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix, and received her Advanced Practice degree from Walden University. Her comprehensive training enables her to provide direct care, counseling, and patient education in accordance with established protocols. Dr. Okundaye specializes in treating psychiatric disorders, offering both direct patient care and support through counseling and education for patients and their families. Her practice is guided by collaborative protocols to ensure high standards of care.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Okundaye is passionately committed to promoting mental health awareness and education. She supports the mission of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and is dedicated to advancing public understanding of mental health issues.
